Today I looked at several pictures from our last trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton Nationalpark. We were there the first time last year in fall and enjoyed the elk rut and the fall colors and returned this year for the spring season to enjoy red doggies, new life and growing green.
What really amazed us is the amount of water that is coming through mountains, creeks and rivers. There is one picture where the pure force of water is pretty obvious.
Take a look at the Hidden Falls in late September 2008:
And then compare it with the roaring waters from early June 2009:
What a difference…
