What a great closing day for our trip to Yellowstone. We got up early, saw a beautiful sunrise, lots of frozen grass and steamy rivers along with elk.
We spent almost 2 hours at the Upper Falls and waited for the rainbow to appear – no luck but we had nice talks with several people.
We missed the Grizzly between Norris and Canyon but we we lucky to follow a coyote along the Yellowstone river close to Sulphur Cauldron
After that we spent some time at the geysirs and if someone starts complaining that there are no pictures of ourselves, well here we are:

After that we saw a huge elk bull along the Madison river and some bald eagles. We had a nice dinner and now it is time to move on. We will be back – for sure…
