We are on the road since last Thursday and luckily the temperatures dropped and the rain changed to snow and started covering the area in a way that we like it. Last night was the first night were the predicted partly cloudy skies translated into a nice opportunity for landscape photography including the moon that already illuminates the surrounding area that you actually do not need any additional light to walk in the dark. Our friend Frank showed us a nice spot near Vasstrand and some northern lights showed up. A little weak but at least better than nothing and after a weekend with rain, storm and temperatues way above freezing point we really enjoyed being outdoors. Later Frank had to leave and we made the decision to see whether the area near Grotfjord might be another lucky spot and we were treated with some more intense auroras. Unfortunately, more and more clouds started coming in blocking the view but we can’t complain. Enjoy some of the images along from yesterday.
