During this travel we crossed the border between Finland and couple of times. The main reason for Norway was getting to the Nordkapp (North Cape) and the secondary reason was the Finnmarklopet that is still running and told several dramatic stories so far.
We had some challenges with northern lights with a major event the first day when we arrived in Ivalo and then either being less active or simply too cloudy to see them.
We have spent the past two nights in a lovely cabin near Nuorgam and last night we were at the right spot at the right time. Lady Aurora was shy in the beginning, pushed the clouds away and danced like it would have been the last dance for the season. Our cameras captured almost 1200 images within a few hours which I have to go through when we are back home. There will be nice sequences stitched together as small movies to show you how beautiful nature is.
